Questions for Mary

In my Excellencies of Christ class taught by Allen Hood, we had an assignment where we had to come up with 20 questions to ask Mary, the mother of Jesus, if we were given a chance to sit down and talk with her. The assignment was for us to just think on the person of Jesus and just meditate on who He is. And it worked! I thought I would list my questions here for you to ponder. =) Enjoy!

Questions for Mary:
1. What was it like watching Jesus grow up and being perfect, while his siblings would get in trouble and need to be disciplined? Were his siblings ever confused as to why he never got punished?
2. What did other moms say about Jesus?
3. What was it like holding Jesus as a baby and seeing his tiny feet, yet knowing that he created you?
4. What were some of Jesus’ favorite: games? food? things to do? color? smell? flower? music?
5. Was there a light in his eyes that was missing from other people’s?
6. What was his humor like?
7. When he said, “Mommy, you look pretty”, did it feel different than when your other children said it?
8. What was your favorite thing to do with him?
9. What was his personality like?
10. Was it ever confusing when he would say things like, “I remember when I made that!” or “I remember Abraham had the greatest smile!”? When did he ‘know’ that he was God?
